Pulwama (The Uttam Hindu): The family of Omar Un Nabi, the suspect in the car bombing near the Red Fort in Delhi, has come forward. Omar's sister-in-law, Muzammila, said that he rarely spoke on the phone, citing studies and exams, but had promised to return home in two or three days.

The suspect, Umar Un Nabi, is a resident of Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. He was a faculty member at Al Falah University in Faridabad. The suspect has been detained. Some of his family members have also been detained in Pulwama.

Umar's sister-in-law, who was at home, told the media, "I asked him to come home, and he said he would in two or three days. I insisted he come the next day, but he said he would in two or three days. He had already told us he had exams and asked not to be disturbed because he was going to the library to study. We said okay."

Muzammila explained that they hadn't called Umar because they knew he was studying. Umar's sister-in-law said, "Umar called on Friday and said, 'Don't bother me too much. I'll call from here.' He asked about the family on Friday. He spoke with me, and I told him to come home, 'Why aren't you coming?' He said he'd be back in two or three days. That's all he said. He said all this without any worry."

Muzammila said, "Omar was not that kind of person. I have told you what I know about him. I cannot say more about this matter."

Umar Un Nabi, a doctor by profession, was reportedly in the car that exploded near the Red Fort in Delhi. CCTV footage showed Umar driving the car. There are suspicions that he was also involved with the Faridabad terrorist module. Currently, investigative agencies are examining every angle of the Faridabad terrorist module's exposure and the subsequent Delhi blast.
