‘Double Your Money’ Scam Turns Deadly: 3 Die, 1 Rushed to Hospital After Fake Tantrik Deception
Jaipur/Bikaner (The Uttam Hindu): A horrifying case of black magic and deception has emerged from Khajuwala in Bikaner district, Rajasthan, where three people were killed and another left in critical condition after being tricked by a gang claiming to double money through occult rituals. The victims were allegedly poisoned, and nearly 45–50 lakh in cash was looted from their home.
Black Magic Scam Turns Deadly
According to police sources, the victims were approached by a group of fake tantriks who promised to double their money using black magic. The gang gained their trust and invited them to perform a ritual. During the process, the accused served them poisoned food, after which all four victims fell unconscious.
Three Dead, One Battling for Life
One of the victims, Abdul Gaffar, a resident of Ward No. 16 in Khajuwala, died during treatment. His body has been sent for post-mortem. Two others also lost their lives, while the fourth person is fighting for life in the hospital. The police have not yet disclosed the identity of all deceased.
Ritual Items Found at Crime Scene
When the police reached the spot, they found several black magic-related items scattered across the house, indicating that the accused performed some kind of staged ritual before poisoning the victims. The house has been sealed and forensic teams have been called in.
Loot of Lakhs, Accused on the Run
Preliminary investigation suggests that the accused looted ₹45 to ₹50 lakh from the victims’ home after they lost consciousness. The culprits are currently absconding, and a massive manhunt has been launched.
Names Under Suspicion
Two individuals — Vikram and Shaitan Singh — are believed to have been in contact with the tantriks, but may have been misled by them as well. Their role in the case is under police scrutiny.
