New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The next important meeting of the opposition parties' alliance 'INDIA' (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) will be held on August 7 at the residence of Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. According to sources, this meeting will be held over dinner, in which many important issues will be discussed and further strategy will be prepared. This meeting is taking place after Rahul Gandhi's recent allegation, in which he claimed rigging in about 70-80 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

According to sources, several key issues have been put up for discussion in the meeting. These include the election fraud allegations raised by Rahul Gandhi, the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar, allegations of fake voters being added in Maharashtra, 'Operation Sindoor', India-US trade agreement and possible tariff threats from US President Donald Trump.

Earlier, the 'India' alliance meeting was held on July 19 through virtual medium, in which leaders of more than 24 parties participated. Many stalwarts like NCP-SP chief Sharad Pawar, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren and Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray were present.

This time, National Conference patron Farooq Abdullah has also confirmed his participation in the meeting on August 7. He said that he will raise the issue of Bihar's SIR process in the meeting, which, according to him, is being used to ensure the victory of the BJP-JDU alliance.
