New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): After the success of Operation Sindoor, India is rapidly moving towards strengthening its military power. The country is preparing to launch not one or two, but 52 satellites. All these satellites will work exclusively for the army, which will enable strict surveillance on every corner of enemy countries including Pakistan. Apart from this, the process of finalizing a special space doctrine for the army is also underway. It is worth noting that during Operation Sindoor, India successfully monitored many military bases of Pakistan with the help of its satellite system, which helped the army a lot in targeting accurately.

This satellite launch by India is part of the third phase of the 'Space Based Surveillance Program' (SBS). The program was approved by the Security Cabinet Committee headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October last year. Its total cost is Rs 26,968 crore. Under this project, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch 21 satellites, while the remaining 31 satellites will be launched by private companies. The first two satellites will be launched in April next year, and all 52 satellites will be deployed by the end of 2029.

This is part of the 'Defense Space Agency' project, which is being run by the Ministry of Defense. According to the Times of India, sources have said that every effort is being made to adhere to the deadline set for the launch of these satellites. At present, contracts have been signed with three private companies, and all of them have been asked to complete their work expeditiously.

According to the information, the main objective of SBS-3 is to monitor as many areas of China and Pakistan as possible. Apart from this, the Indian Ocean region will also be closely monitored. Along with this, work on space doctrine is also going on at a fast pace. The Indian Air Force is also preparing three high altitude platform system aircraft. These aircraft will be unmanned and will work on the basis of satellite.
