IndiGo flights affected due to low visibility, travel advisory issued for passengers
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Flight operations are being impacted in several parts of the country due to adverse weather conditions. In this context, leading airline IndiGo issued a travel advisory for passengers on Tuesday, informing them about disruptions caused by low visibility.
IndiGo stated that low visibility conditions are prevailing in Dehradun, Hyderabad, and Agartala, directly affecting flight operations. As a result, departures and arrivals to and from these cities may face delays.
The airline has advised passengers to stay alert and regularly check their flight status through IndiGo’s official website or mobile app. IndiGo assured travelers that its ground staff and customer support teams are fully prepared to assist passengers and provide support throughout the journey.
Sharing the advisory on social media platform X, IndiGo said that flight schedules are being affected due to reduced visibility in the concerned cities. The airline added that it is closely monitoring the situation and hopes for improved weather conditions to ensure smooth operations.
Earlier as well, air services to and from Srinagar were disrupted due to heavy snowfall. During that period, both Air India and IndiGo had issued similar advisories, urging passengers to rely only on official updates and remain cautious while planning their travel.
