Kangana Ranaut slams Rahul Gandhi, calls him a ‘stigma’ who defames India abroad
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Bharatiya Janata Party MP and actress Kangana Ranaut has once again launched a scathing attack on Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. Calling Rahul Gandhi a "stain on the country," Kangana alleged that he defames India on every platform.
Speaking to the media in the capital, Delhi, Kangana Ranaut targeted Rahul Gandhi, saying, "He (Rahul Gandhi) is a disgrace. Everyone knows that he is trying to defame the country everywhere. If he is criticizing the country, saying that the people here are quarrelsome and not honest, then by doing all this he is trying to show that the people of India are foolish. That is why I call him a disgrace. He always brings shame to the country, and the country is ashamed of him."
In fact, Kangana Ranaut had come to Delhi to buy Khadi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti today (October 2nd) in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal. During the event, she said, "You can see that I am wearing a Khadi saree and a Khadi blouse. Our indigenous clothes are in great demand all over the world. As the Prime Minister says, the time has come to become self-reliant. The Prime Minister appealed in 'Mann Ki Baat' that we should buy Khadi on October 2nd, so respecting his words, we have come here today." During the same event, she made this controversial comment about Rahul Gandhi in response to a question from journalists.
