Mahendragarh tragedy — speeding car hits dumper, three friends lose their lives

Mahendragarh (The Uttam Hindu): Three young men were killed and one seriously injured in a tragic road accident around 12 a.m. Wednesday. The accident occurred when a car driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a dumper truck from behind. The impact was so severe that the car was severely damaged. The dumper driver fled the scene with his vehicle.


According to reports, 19-year-old Pradeep, a resident of Jadra village in Rewari district, was returning home with three friends in his car (number HR-43E-0999) after attending a wedding in Hudina village, near Narnaul. On their way, near Anawas village, the car went out of control and collided with a dumper truck.


Pradeep was seriously injured in the collision, while his three companions died on the spot. Pradeep has been admitted to a private hospital in Mahendragarh. The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the district hospital and sent for post-mortem.


The deceased have been identified as Lokesh, son of Raj Kapoor, resident of Ghazi Gopalpur (Jatusana police station, Rewari district), Kaushal, son of Sunil, resident of Jadra (Rewari), and Monu, resident of Karira (Kanina area). Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Preliminary investigation suggests that the accident occurred due to the car speeding and losing control.
