Marksheets don’t determine your value, PM Modi’s message to students in Mann Ki Baat
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a special conversation with students and youth on Sunday through his radio program "Mann Ki Baat." He said that your evaluation isn't determined solely by your marksheet and that you shouldn't be overwhelmed by exams.
In the 131st episode of "Mann Ki Baat," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "I hope you watched 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' earlier this month and learned something from it. You are exam warriors. I am sure you are all preparing for your exams with full dedication."
PM Modi said, “Yes, it's natural to have some doubts in your mind at times like these. Sometimes you wonder if you'll remember everything. Sometimes you wonder if you'll run out of time! Children of every generation have felt these feelings; you're not alone. Remember, your worth isn't determined by your marksheet. So trust yourself. Write down with all your heart what you've studied. And don't let that one question about what you didn't understand dominate your mind.”
The Prime Minister further said, "Keep talking to your parents and teachers. They judge you not by your marks, but by your efforts. They are happy with your hard work. I am confident that you will succeed in the exam and achieve new heights of success in your life. Therefore, prepare for the exam without any fear."
PM Modi said, "I receive numerous suggestions from you every month for 'Mann Ki Baat.' Your messages help us uncover the incredible talents hidden in every corner of the country. Through you, many inspiring stories of people rising above personal interests and giving back to society have reached people across the country. May you continue your efforts. I look forward to your messages. Once again, I extend my best wishes to you and your family for the upcoming festivals."
It should be noted that this is the 131st episode of the program and the second broadcast of the year 2026. Airing on the last Sunday of every month, this program holds special significance for the countrymen. "Mann Ki Baat" is not just an address, but has become a powerful medium for connecting with the people.
