Shopian (The Uttam Hindu): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) continues its probe into the Delhi blast case. As part of the investigation, the agency conducted raids at the residences of Maulvi Irfan, Dr. Adeel, and Muzammil in Jammu & Kashmir. The NIA is searching for concrete evidence that could link the suspects to the “white-collar module” of Jaish-e-Mohammed and the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort.

On Saturday morning, NIA teams raided the ancestral home of arrested Maulvi Irfan in Nadigam, Shopian, as well as the residences of Dr. Adeel and Dr. Muzammil in Malangpora, Pulwama. A raid was also carried out at the home of Aamir in Sambura, Pulwama. Investigators are looking for materials or documents that can connect these individuals to the Jaish module and the Red Fort explosion, as Irfan has emerged as a key link in the case.

A court has sent Maulvi Irfan, Dr. Adeel, and Dr. Muzammil to 10 days of judicial custody. They were arrested after the blast near the Red Fort and face serious allegations.

Recent reports suggested that Maulvi Irfan was involved in radicalising educated Muslim youth and pushing them towards extremist activities. After the Delhi blast, an entire network involving medical professionals was exposed. Several doctors were arrested for allegedly collaborating with terrorists and plotting attacks to destabilise India.
