Pakistan embarrassed again at the United Nations, India exposes truth on Operation Sindoor and terrorism
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Pakistan once again faced sharp criticism at the United Nations after India strongly exposed its narrative on key issues such as Operation Sindoor, Jammu and Kashmir, terrorism, and the 27th Constitutional Amendment. India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Parvathaneni Harish, stated clearly that harming India and Indians remains Pakistan’s sole agenda.
He said Pakistan has repeatedly spread false and misleading claims regarding Operation Sindoor. Presenting facts at the UN, Harish revealed that until 9 May 2025, Pakistan continued issuing threats of attacks against India. However, on 10 May, it was the Pakistani Army that contacted Indian authorities seeking a ceasefire.
Truth behind Operation Sindoor
The Indian envoy said that during Operation Sindoor, India caused significant damage to several key Pakistani airbases. Images showing destroyed runways and burned aircraft hangars are already in the public domain and cannot be denied.
No normalcy with terrorism
Sending a strong message, Harish said that Pakistan’s claims of normal conditions are meaningless as long as terrorism continues to exist there. He stressed that Pakistan has long used terrorism as a tool against India, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Jammu and Kashmir is integral to India
Harish firmly stated that the United Nations cannot be used by Pakistan as a platform to justify terrorism. He reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inseparable part of India and will always remain so. Pakistan, he added, has no right to interfere in India’s internal matters.
