Uttarakhand Tragedy: 8 Dead, Several Injured as Taxi Plummets into Deep Gorge

Pithoragarh (Uttam Hindu News)- News of a tragic accident has come to light in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. According to the information, 8 people died and many were injured when a vehicle full of passengers fell into a ditch.

The vehicle fell straight into a gorge about 300 meters below the bridge. Eight people died due to the fall of the vehicle, while four people are reported to be injured. Pithoragarh SP Rekha Yadav said that police officers have reached the spot and rescue operations are underway.
