Bhojpur (The Uttam Hindu): In the political arena, where often sharp statements and protests grab headlines, on Saturday a scene was seen in Bihar's Bhojpur district that surprised everyone. During Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Voter Rights Yatra', when BJP youth workers were showing him black flags and shouting 'Murdabad' slogans, Rahul did something that no one had imagined. He called a protesting youth to him and smilingly handed him a toffee.

This incident happened when Rahul Gandhi's convoy was passing through Ara city. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, CPI(ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya and VIP's Mukesh Sahni were also present in his journey, demonstrating the unity of the India Alliance. As the convoy moved ahead, suddenly some BJP Yuva Morcha workers came forward and started shouting slogans against Rahul Gandhi with black flags.

When the security personnel were trying to remove the protesters, Rahul Gandhi's attention fell on a youth who was shouting slogans with full force. He stopped his car and called the worker to him with a gesture. The two talked for a few moments. After this, Rahul Gandhi took out a toffee from his pocket and put it in the hands of that youth.

Everyone present there was stunned to see this unexpected move of Rahul Gandhi. The youth who was burning in the fire of protest a moment ago, was standing speechless with a toffee in his hand. The sweetness of this one toffee made him forget all the bitterness of political protest. This incident immediately went viral on social media and became a topic of discussion.

Political analysts are looking at this move of Rahul Gandhi as his political maturity and humility. They believe that with this small gesture, Rahul has tried to send a message that political and ideological differences are in their place, but mutual respect and harmony should always prevail at the personal level.
