Security Breach Alert: Passenger Tries to Open Cockpit Door on Air India Express Flight

Bengaluru (The Uttam Hindu) : A bizarre incident occurred today on an Air India Express flight from Bengaluru to Varanasi. A passenger attempted to open the cockpit door. The passenger knew the correct passcode, but the captain, fearing a hijacking, did not open the door. The incident occurred after the plane had already taken off.

In this case, the passenger and eight passengers traveling with him have been detained and handed over to CISF. Air India Express stated that no security protocols were violated on the flight. A passenger entered the cockpit entry area while searching for a toilet. We want to clarify that security standards are in place and there were no violations.

It is reported that when the cabin crew tried to stop the man, his companions came and tried to get in. The airline staff reprimanded them and made them sit on their seats.
