New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : Regarding the ongoing conflict in West Asia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, "I want to request the state governments that no matter how big the crisis, it is our responsibility to maintain the country's growth. To do this, we must continue to implement every necessary step and every necessary reform at a rapid pace. This is a huge opportunity for the state governments. This is also a huge test for Team India."

PM Modi said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the central and state governments, working together as Team India, presented an excellent model of COVID management. Despite governments from different political parties, testing, vaccination, and the supply of essential goods were ensured through Team India's efforts. We must continue to work with the same spirit. With the efforts of all state governments and the central government, the country will be able to effectively address this serious global crisis. This crisis is unique, and its solutions are being developed in a unique way.

He said that we must face every challenge with patience and restraint, with a calm mind. We see that the situation regarding this war is changing every moment, so I would also like to tell the countrymen that we must be prepared for every challenge. There is a strong possibility that this war will have serious long-term consequences. I assure the countrymen that the government is vigilant, prepared, and is formulating strategies and taking every decision with utmost seriousness. The interests of the people of the country are paramount for us. This is our identity, this is our strength.

Prime Minister Modi said that this crisis will be a major test for our country in the coming times. The cooperation of the states is crucial for success in this test
