Panipat (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking case of inhuman treatment inside a school has shaken the conscience of society. Disturbing videos from Srijan Public School, Jatal Road, Panipat have gone viral on social media, exposing the cruel behavior of teachers and staff towards innocent children.

Child Hung Upside Down, Thrashed for Not Doing Homework

In the first viral video, a Class 2 boy was tied with a rope and hung upside down from a window by the school bus driver, allegedly on the instructions of a female teacher. The driver then mercilessly slapped and beat the child while he screamed in pain.

The boy’s mother, Dolly, alleged that the teacher ordered this punishment because her son failed to complete his homework. Shockingly, the driver even made a video call to his friends to showcase the incident and later uploaded the video on social media.

Teacher Slaps Children, Forced Them to Clean Toilets

Another video revealed a female teacher slapping young students in front of the class. Parents further alleged that children were forced to clean toilets as punishment.

When confronted, Principal Reena tried to defend the actions, claiming the children had “misbehaved” and the teachers were trying to discipline them. However, this justification stands in violation of the Ministry of Education’s guidelines prohibiting corporal punishment.

Principal Under Fire, Family Alleges Intimidation

The victim’s mother accused the principal of initially brushing aside the incident, later admitting that she instructed the driver to “teach the child a lesson.” The family also alleged that when they objected, the driver sent goons to threaten them.

Principal Reena, however, stated that the driver had been terminated back in August due to his inappropriate behavior with children.

FIR Filed, Teacher & Driver Arrested

Following a complaint lodged at Model Town Police Station, the police swiftly registered an FIR and arrested both the female teacher and the driver. Officials confirmed that further investigation is underway, given the grave nature of the crime.

Safety Concerns Raised Against School Management

The incident has sparked outrage among parents and locals, raising serious questions about student safety in private schools. Parents demand strict action against such institutions to ensure children are never subjected to such barbarity again.
