Toll Worries Gone! Get 1 Year of FASTag Recharge for Just ₹3000 – Service Starts Soon!

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) :  Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari made an important announcement today and said that a FASTag based annual pass of Rs 3,000 will be issued for private vehicles from August 15, 2025. This pass will be valid for one year or 200 trips from the date of issue, whichever is completed earlier.

This special facility will help non-commercial vehicle owners to travel on national highways without any hindrance. Shri Gadkari further informed that a separate link will soon be made available on the websites of NHAI and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and 'Highway Yatra' mobile app to obtain this pass. It will be easy to activate and renew the pass through this link.

The main objective of this new annual pass policy is to solve the old problems related to toll plazas located within a radius of 60 km. This initiative will simplify toll payments through a single digital transaction, reduce time spent at toll plazas, reduce congestion and also eliminate toll-related disputes. This announcement is expected to bring great relief to lakhs of private vehicle drivers, making their journey not only faster but also more comfortable and stress-free.
