Tragic Accident: Bomb Disposal Squad Vehicle Collides with Truck, 4 Personnel Killed on the Spot

Sagar, Madhya Pradesh (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic road accident took place in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, where members of a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) met with a fatal collision. Four personnel died on the spot, while one sustained serious injuries. The team was returning home after completing duty when their vehicle encountered the accident.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on National Highway 44 near Bandri-Malthaun. All five personnel were returning from Morena when their vehicle collided head-on with an approaching truck. The exact cause of the accident is still unknown, and police have started an investigation.

The deceased have been identified as Pradhuman Dixit, Aman Kourav, and vehicle driver Parmalal Tomar, all residents of Morena. Vinod Sharma, the dog squad master from Bhind, also lost his life. Another constable from Morena, Rajveen Chauhan, was injured and is receiving treatment at Bansal Hospital. A dog in the police vehicle was found safe.
