Kathua (The Uttam Hindu): Important news for railway passengers going to Jammu. A freight train derailed on the Kathua railway track. This freight train was going from Jammu to Punjab and derailed in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district after heavy rains and landslides this morning. This incident happened after landslide debris fell on the railway track near Lakhanpur area of ​​Kathua.

However, it was fortunate that no passenger train was on the track during this time, otherwise a major accident could have occurred. At around 5:30 in the morning, a goods train derailed between Kathua-Lakhanpur. The railway team is trying to restore traffic.
