Triple Suicide Shocks Locality: 3 Members of Same Family Found Hanging

Ranchi (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident has come to light from Jharkhand's capital Ranchi, where three members of the same family committed suicide by hanging themselves. The incident took place in Choriyan area of Latma Road in Jagannathpur police station area. The deceased include a woman and her son and daughter. According to the police, the reason for this mass suicide is believed to be a dispute between the husband and wife.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the three bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem. The police took immediate action and detained the deceased's husband and is interrogating him.

Police said that they had received information that three people had committed suicide in a house in Jagannathpur area. When the police team reached the spot, the scene in the room was horrifying. The bodies of the woman and her two children were hanging from a noose in the same room. The police brought down the three bodies and also called the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to the spot for investigation.

Initial investigation by the police and interrogation of the family members revealed that the woman often had arguments with her husband over some issue. It is being said that due to this rift, the woman was upset and under stress for a long time. It is suspected that fed up with this quarrel, the woman took this horrifying step with her children.

Police say that prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide, but they are seriously investigating the case from every angle. The real reason behind the death will be revealed only after the husband is questioned in custody and the post-mortem report is received.
