Two months after wedding, Congress leader's nephew murders wife and calls ambulance before suicide

Ahmedabad (The Uttam Hindu): Yashraj Singh Gohil, nephew of Gujarat Congress leader Shaktisinh Gohil, committed suicide. Yashraj had been married just two months earlier. According to police, the couple had a fight on Wednesday night. Following this, Yashraj first killed his wife, Rajeshwari, and then called 108 to summon an ambulance. After doctors declared his wife dead, Yashraj also committed suicide.

According to the police, Yashraj and Rajeshwari had gone to a relative's house for dinner on Wednesday. After returning, they had an argument. The argument escalated to the point where Yashraj assaulted his wife and then shot her in the head with his licensed gun. Police said Yashraj called 108 and summoned an ambulance. The 108 team arrived at the scene and, upon investigation, discovered Rajeshwari had died. As soon as the 108 employees left the house, Yashraj committed suicide by shooting himself.
