₹1,000 for Punjab women: CM Bhagwant Mann reaffirms promise
Sri Muktsar Sahib (The Uttam Hindu) : Speaking at a political conference here today, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the Rs 1,000 he had promised would be fulfilled in the next budget. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that when you stand up for the rights of the people, your turn comes. Regarding the Congress party's refusal to hold rallies, the Chief Minister said that they do not get along with each other. Regarding Sukhbir Singh Badal, Bhagwant Mann said that he himself is saying that there is no one to speak, that is why his rally is over. Most of the people who came in Badal's buses are currently attending AAP rallies.
The Chief Minister said, "I receive calls from young people abroad saying they want to return to Punjab. While many are unable to find government jobs due to their age, we are providing them with every possible help to start their own businesses in the state." Taking aim at Sukhbir Badal, Mann said that these people find fault with each other in interviews, but they never consider the harm their policies have caused to the public.
