Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): Bharatiya Janata Party Urban District President Sushil Sharma has thanked the residents of Jalandhar Cantt constituency for making the G Ram G scheme Chopal program a success. He said that the massive crowd in favor of the BJP is a clear indication of change and support. He said that the large number of beneficiaries deprived of the G Ram G scheme due to the oppressive policies of the Mann government shows that people like the Modi government's schemes. He said that now unemployment will be completely eradicated in the Cantt constituency, and if work is not available, the Modi government will also provide unemployment allowance under the MNREGA scheme.

He said that the Congress and AAP parties are opposing the new law because they actually hate the poor. They don't want the poor to get their rights and for the corruption being committed in their name to be stopped. He said that the G Ram G scheme will pave the way for the all-round development of villages while ensuring the interests of the laborers. Ashok Sareen Hikki, the district general secretary of the BJP and in-charge of the Cantt assembly constituency, thanked all the people who came from various villages including Foldiwal, Jamsher, Jandiala, Kukkar Pind, Bambiawal, Samrai, Bhode Saprai, Chittyani, Lakhanpal, Kangniwal, Dhina, Sofi Pind, Barsal, Pratap Pura, Mirapur, Khunkhun, Daduwal, Nathewal, Sunar Khurd and Sarhali for making the program a success.

He said that this program in Foldiwal sends a clear message that a BJP MLA will be elected from the Cantt assembly constituency in 2027. He added that the current MLA, who was elected from the Akali Dal and later joined the Congress, has done nothing to provide facilities and security to the people of the rural areas, and due to the collusion between the Congress and AAP leaders in the Cantt assembly constituency, drug trafficking, hooliganism and unemployment are at their peak.
