Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): In a major organisational reshuffle, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has assigned fresh responsibilities to 11 leaders, appointing them as Chairpersons, Senior Vice Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons, and Directors across various boards and corporations.

According to the official list, Rajinder Kaur Thiada has been removed from her post as Chairperson of the Jalandhar Improvement Trust, barely six months after her appointment. She has been replaced by Ramneek Singh Lucky Randhawa, who will now take charge of the Trust’s affairs.

The Punjab government, in a bid to strengthen its organisational network, has also made new appointments in welfare boards. Pankaj Sharda has been appointed Chairman of the Brahmin Welfare Board, while Swarn Salaria has been given charge as Chairman of the Rajput Welfare Board.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the changes on social media platform ‘X’, expressing hope that all newly appointed individuals would discharge their duties with full sincerity and dedication. This reshuffle is being seen as part of AAP’s strategy to tighten its grip on local bodies ahead of upcoming political challenges in Punjab.
