AAP Strengths in Ludhiana West! Hundreds of Congress, BJP and Akali Dal Leaders Join the Party
Ludhiana(The Uttam Hindu): Ahead of the by-election in Ludhiana West Assembly constituency, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has gained significant momentum, while Congress, BJP, and Akali Dal have faced a major setback. On Friday, hundreds of leaders and workers from these parties joined AAP. Additionally, Yashpal Sharma, the state president of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), and spokesperson Chander Kant Chadda announced their party’s support for AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora.
AAP Punjab State President Aman Arora, in the presence of Working President Shery Kalsi and party leader Dr. Sunny Ahluwalia, formally inducted all individuals into the party and welcomed them into the AAP family.
Prominent leaders from Congress who joined AAP include Divyesh Makkar from Ward No. 69, former Youth Congress General Secretary KK Digli, Ashok Kada, Neeraj Kanda, Sumit Arora, Rakesh Jain, Hardeep Kaur, Renu Gautam, Tanvir Singh, Sadhu Singh, Sardar Jaswinder Singh, Sardar Sukhpal Singh, and Sardar Kuldeep Singh.
Renowned Ludhiana builder and Akali Dal leader Raman Kumar Sangar also joined AAP along with his associates Gurujagdeep Singh, Harpreet Singh Randhawa, Jasdeep Singh, Karnail Singh, Nirmal Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Palwinder Singh, Jatinder Singh, Harjinder Singh, Santokh Singh, Amandeep Singh, Gurmel Singh, Mohammad Tariq, Balraj Garewal, Sukhwinder Garewal, Channpreet, Gaggan Kanaujia, Gagan, Akash, Noor, and Shamsher. Additionally, Manjeet Singh Dhaliwal (Ward No. 56), Randeep Singh Bombay (Ward No. 54), Jaswinder Kaur, and Kamini Sagar also joined the party.
Leaders from BJP's Mahila Morcha, including Vice Presidents Kirandeep Kaur, Anu, Simran, Sarabjit Kaur, Sunita (Treasurer), along with Ramanpreet, Bhavika, Lovely Gupta, Urmila, Veena Rani, Kulvinder, Manjeet, Kiran, and Kuljeet.
All those who joined expressed that they were impressed by the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party and the work done by the AAP government, which motivated them to become a part of the party.
Addressing the media on this occasion, Aman Arora said that the people of Punjab have complete trust in the AAP government. People from all sections and communities are supporting the party’s policies and joining the Aam Aadmi Party in large numbers daily. He further stated that there is a wave of support for AAP in Ludhiana West. The AAP candidate will win the by-election with a significant margin.
