Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party’s National Media In-charge Anurag Dhanda said the BJP is likely to face a strong backlash in the upcoming Assembly elections in five states. He claimed that people across the country are unhappy with the government’s policies and will express their anger through their votes. Dhanda announced that AAP will contest the elections independently in Assam and Kerala, while in West Bengal the party will support Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress to defeat the BJP.

Dhanda also criticized the central government over the ongoing LPG shortage, saying that people in several states are facing long queues outside gas agencies. According to him, women, elderly citizens and workers are being forced to stand in line for hours to obtain gas cylinders, causing major inconvenience in daily life.

He alleged that the situation reflects poor management by the government and added that inflation, unemployment and the LPG crisis have increased public frustration. Dhanda said the Aam Aadmi Party will continue to raise issues affecting common people and claimed that voters will respond strongly to these problems in the upcoming elections.
