Bomb scare at Punjab CM’s office and Chandigarh court, bomb squad rushed to spot

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): News of a bomb threat against the Punjab Secretariat in Chandigarh has surfaced. The threat was made via email, causing panic throughout the area. Police arrived at the scene upon receiving the information and the area was evacuated.

A screenshot of the threatening email has gone viral. However, there has been no official confirmation from the police or administration. However, for security reasons, the police cordoned off the area and safely evacuated people from the Secretariat. Police, bomb squad, and dog squad teams have arrived at the scene. The entire area is being thoroughly searched.

The screenshot of the email states that there will be an explosion at 2:11 pm in CM Mann's office, the Secretariat, and the Chandigarh Court. It then reads, "Punjab will now become Khalistan." The explosion will take place at CM Mann's office at 2:11 pm, while the blast at the Chandigarh Court will take place at 3:11 pm.
