Surrey (The Uttam Hindu): Yet another piece of devastating news has emerged for the Punjabi community in Canada. Binder Garcha, a prominent Punjabi businessman, was shot and killed in broad daylight in Surrey. Garcha owned the popular "Studio 12" and a club there. The attackers fled the scene after the incident. Police arrived at the scene and began an investigation, recovering crucial CCTV footage related to the murder.
Shot near US border
According to Canadian police sources, the incident occurred on Wednesday. Binder Garcha was shot near 176th Street and 35th Avenue. Although his home is in Surrey City, the attack took place near a farmhouse. The road where the shooting occurred connects to the US border. Garcha was a resident of Tarn Taran and owned several businesses.
Binder Garcha, 48, originally from the village of Moolo Bediyan in the Tarn Taran district of Punjab, moved to Canada with his family several years ago. He is survived by his parents, wife, two daughters, and a son. Garcha was well-known in Surrey as a prominent businessman. He owned Studio 12, an immigration service, a club, and a limousine company.
