Congress and BJP Suffer a Major Blow in Ludhiana West! Prominent Leaders Join AAP

Ludhiana(The Uttam Hindu): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab gained more strength in the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election, delivering a significant blow to Congress and BJP. On Friday, Congress Vice President of Ludhiana District Veer Karamveer Shelly and BJP Spokesperson Amit Kumar, along with dozens of their supporters, joined AAP.

MLAs Ashok Parashar Pappi, Kulwant Sidhu, and Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina formally inducted these leaders into the party and welcomed them in the presence of senior party leaders.

Along with Veer Karamveer Shelly, his associates Rinku (Ward No. 65), Pradeep (Ward No. 63), Raju (Ward No. 63), Roni Gogla (Ward No. 65), Deepak (Ward No. 65), Sunny (Ward No. 63), Shiva Sood (Ward No. 63), and Sanjay Kumar (Ward No. 63) also joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

While addressing the media on this occasion, MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi welcomed all the leaders into the party and said that inspired by the policies and work of the Aam Aadmi Party, leaders from BJP, Congress, and Akali Dal are continuously joining AAP. Their inclusion will undoubtedly strengthen the party in the by-elections.

Ashok Prashar Pappi added that the work done by Sanjeev Arora for Ludhiana and the excellent governance provided by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over the past three and a half years across Punjab have motivated people from all sections and communities to join the party and extend their support.

MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu said, "Today leaders of BJP and Congress have joined the Aam Aadmi Party, putting their stamp of approval on the vision and policies of our Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Ji and Arvind Kejriwal Ji. We are grateful for their support. We assure you that you will be given due respect and a proper place in the party's organization so that, together with you, we can work better for Punjab's development."

MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina stated that seeing the work done by the AAP government over the past three and a quarter years, BJP’s Spokesperson and Ludhiana Congress’s Vice President have joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Our caravan grows daily, contributing to Ludhiana’s progress.
