FIR over ₹30 crore misappropriation from Sidhu Moosewala family, singer’s parents were forced to stage a protest
Mansa (The Uttam Hindu): On the basis of statements given by Sidhu Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur, the Mansa police have registered an FIR against a private company and two individuals in connection with alleged financial fraud amounting to around ₹30 crore.
According to police officials, the case has been filed against One Digital company and two accused, including Shabbir, under charges related to cheating and misappropriation of funds. The complaint alleges that large sums belonging to the Moosewala family were siphoned off through deceptive financial dealings.
Charan Kaur stated that despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter, no action was taken earlier, which ultimately forced the singer’s parents to sit on a protest seeking justice. After the issue gained public attention, the police initiated a detailed inquiry and registered the case.
Sources said that the investigation will focus on financial transactions, agreements, and money flow linked to the accused parties. Police have confirmed that further legal action will be taken based on evidence collected during the probe.
The case has been registered at Mansa police station, and authorities have assured that the matter will be investigated thoroughly and impartially.
