In Tarn Taran, it’s not just a wave, but a storm in favour of AAP: Sherry Kalsi

Tarn Taran (The Uttam Hindu): The election campaign of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu for the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election received a major boost today as dozens of leaders and youth from various parties joined AAP.

During a press conference held in Tarn Taran, AAP Punjab Working President Sherry Kalsi, along with State Secretary Harchand Barsat, Chairman Gurdev Lakhna, Dilbagh Singh, and other leaders, welcomed all the new members into the party. Inspired by Mohammad Mehrban, those who joined the party include Rajan Ali, Yuvraj, Kanwal, Mohammad Ajeeb, Mehtab Ali, Shahbaz, Balraj, Moshkeen, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Haseen, Shahrukh, Shanu, and Dilnawaz from Ward No. 12.

On this occasion, Kalsi said that the massive public response during the visits of AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to Tarn Taran proves that it is not just a wave, but a storm in favour of AAP. He said that today’s enthusiastic gathering shows that such a storm arises only when people consider a political party as their own and work for it with love and commitment.
