Kabaddi player murder: 2 shooters killed in encounter, both linked to Bambiha gang

Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): Two individuals suspected of involvement in the murder of kabaddi player Rana Balachauriya were killed in an encounter with Punjab Police in Lalru, Mohali. The suspects, identified as Aditya and Karan, were linked to the Bambiha gang and were wanted in connection with the shooting incident that took place during a kabaddi match in Sohana village, Mohali.

The police had formed 12 special teams to track down the accused, who were allegedly involved in the conspiracy to establish dominance over kabaddi tournaments. Senior Superintendent of Police Harmandeep Singh Hans clarified that the murder was not connected to the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
