Massive support for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu, dozens of families join the party
Tarn Taran(The Uttam Hindu): Ahead of the by-election in Tarn Taran Assembly constituency, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today received a significant political boost when dozens of prominent families associated with traditional parties joined the party. This large gathering is being seen as a massive wave of support for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu’s election campaign.
At a grand event organized by AAP workers at the local Sun Star Hotel today, many families bid farewell to traditional parties once and for all. Expressing happiness with Aam Aadmi Party’s pro-people policies, they announced their decision to join the party. The new members were warmly welcomed with AAP mufflars and hundreds of families expressed great joy on the occasion.
To welcome the newly joined families, Member of Parliament Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Sun Star Hotel owner Harjinder Singh Dhillon, MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Chairmen Jagrup Singh Sekhwan and Jasbir Singh Dhillon (Sur Singh) specially attended the event.
On this occasion, senior leaders extended heartfelt thanks to the people who attended and motivated them to work day and night for the party’s progress. The leaders said that with the joining of these families, AAP’s foundation in Tarn Taran has become even stronger. They expressed confidence that this enthusiasm among the people will ensure a decisive victory for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu in the by-election.
