Massive Support for AAP Candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu in Tarn Taran

Tarn Taran (The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu received an overwhelming response during Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s grand roadshow in Tarn Taran on Monday. The roadshow covered a dozen villages, where people welcomed the Chief Minister and the AAP candidate with great enthusiasm, flower showers, and slogans of support.

Addressing the gatherings, Sandhu expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people for their love, support, and trust. He said the response from every village reflects the people’s confidence in AAP’s honest and development-oriented politics.

“Tarn Taran is my home, and I consider its people my family. I will work tirelessly to bring every possible development here, in education, health, roads, and employment. I’m not an outsider parachuted from elsewhere; I’m one of you,” Sandhu affirmed.

Taking a dig at opposition parties, Sandhu said they have fielded parachute candidates with no connection to Tarn Taran, while AAP is fielding local leaders who truly understand the region’s challenges and aspirations.

He also thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for taking a historic step to give ownership rights to residents living in Lal Lakir areas, calling it a major relief for thousands of families who had long awaited justice.

“CM Mann has fulfilled the decades-old dream of our people. The AAP government is committed to empowering every section of society,” Sandhu said.

Sandhu concluded by urging people to vote for AAP’s symbol ‘Jharoo’ (broom) on November 11, to ensure a strong, honest, and people-centric government continues its work for prosperous Tarn Taran.
