"Mother Language Punjabi March" to be held in Jalandhar on February 26th - Deepak Bali

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): Dedicating International Mother Language Day, the Punjab Jagriti Manch will organize the "Mother Language Punjabi March" in Jalandhar city on Thursday, February 26th, as it does every year. Representatives from various schools, colleges, religious and social organizations, as well as respected personalities who love the Punjabi language will participate in this march.


A meeting of Punjabi lovers was held at the Circuit House in Jalandhar under the leadership of Punjab Jagriti Manch President Mr. Satnam Singh Manak and General Secretary Mr. Deepak Bali. The meeting discussed in detail the successful and well-organized march and assigned various responsibilities.


The march will begin from Lyallpur Khalsa School, Nakodar Road and will pass through Dr. Ambedkar Chowk, Bhagwan Valmiki Chowk, Shri Ram Chowk and Bhagat Namdev Chowk, reaching the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall. Various Punjabi singers from Punjab will present songs of mother tongue Punjabi in Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.


Kamlesh Duggal, Atam Prakash Babbal, Parveen Abrol, Sukhbir Chattha, Sangat Ram, Kulwant Singh Dalam, Surjeet Lal, Baba Sukhjeet Singh, Principal Anoop Vats, Punjabi singers Dalwinder Dayalpuri, Puneet, Paramjeet Sethi, Gurpreet Dhami, Rashmi Agarwal, Gautam Bali, Arjan Malhotra, Manjeet Singh Thind, Harsimranjeet Singh and Gurdas Singh along with other Punjabi lovers were present in the meeting.
