MP Chabbewal Extends ₹2 Lakh Financial Assistance to Family of 5-Year-Old Victim

Expressing solidarity with the family of a five-year-old boy who was brutally killed a few days ago, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Member of Parliament from Hoshiarpur, on Tuesday handed over a cheque of ₹2 lakh as financial assistance from his personal funds.

Accompanied by former Punjab minister Joginder Singh Mann, Dr. Chabbewal met the grieving family and offered condolences. He assured them that justice will be delivered and conveyed his prayers for the departed soul, while also wishing the family strength to bear this irreparable loss.

Dr. Chabbewal said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stands firmly with the bereaved family in this hour of crisis. He pledged that the perpetrator of this heinous crime against humanity would face exemplary punishment. The state government, he emphasized, will ensure that no leniency is shown and that the guilty is punished with the harshest sentence as per law, setting an example for others.

Reiterating his strong condemnation of the incident, the MP stressed that the government will extend all possible support and assistance to the victim’s family. Appealing to the people, Dr. Chabbewal urged everyone to uphold religious harmony, unity, and brotherhood, and to maintain peace in society despite the tragedy.
