Praveen Abrol appointed member of the Punjab State Human Rights Commission

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): In recognition of her contributions to society, social worker and author Praveen Abrol has been appointed as a member of the Punjab State Human Rights Commission. Expressing her gratitude to the Commission, Mrs. Praveen Abrol stated that she would discharge this responsibility with utmost honesty and dedication.

For the past 20 years, she has been consistently working to raise awareness among women regarding their rights and duties, while simultaneously empowering them to become self-reliant. Furthermore, she remains actively engaged in making special provisions for the education of young girls. It is for these reasons that she has been accorded this opportunity to serve—an honor for which she remains deeply grateful to the Commission.
