Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Suspends Kapurthala RTO Over Irregularities

Kapurthala (The Uttam Hindu): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has taken major action in the case involving the RTO of Kapurthala, Gurvinder Singh. The officer has been suspended after alleged irregularities were reported in the functioning of the Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib-related official programs.

According to the information, serious discrepancies were found in the management and administrative work linked to these programs. Following the findings, Punjab Chief Secretary A.K. Sinha issued immediate suspension orders against the RTO.

The state government has stated that strict action will continue against any officer found involved in negligence or misconduct.
