Punjab Police DIG Harcharan Bhullar falls into CBI's trap, arrested for bribery

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): The CBI has arrested Ropar Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar. According to reports, he has been arrested on bribery charges.
He was arrested by a CBI team in Mohali. According to sources, the action was taken following a complaint filed against him by a scrap dealer in Mandi Gobindgarh.
Harcharan Singh Bhullar has held several important positions in the Punjab Police. He is a senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. He is a 2007 batch officer and currently serves as Deputy Inspector General (DIG). Harcharan Singh Bhullar is known for his tough actions and honest image. He has taken strong action against drug mafia, organized crime, and social security issues.
