Punjab's CM Mann unveils industrial policy, snubs opposition with 'not participating' remark

Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu) : Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today launched the Punjab Industrial Policy. Mann said, "We are not those who share or take red bags. Our only desire is to see your business grow and the youth here find jobs." CM Mann said that industrial development is essential to make Punjab a vibrant state, and without making Punjab number one, the country cannot become a world leader.

The CM said that through this policy the government has provided a runway to the industry and now it is the turn of the industry to take off. Earlier, State Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora said that such a policy does not exist anywhere in the country. This policy was introduced under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He said that the CM has great love for the industry. It was passed in the cabinet in 10 minutes. The CM said that if industry is coming to Punjab then we will have to open institutes for skill development here. GNE has the maximum number of engineers in Boeing. The supervisor of the plane being built for Trump is also a student of GNE Ludhiana.
