Shooting at Punjabi Singer Channi Nattan’s House in Canada; Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility
Chandigarh/Toronto (The Uttam Hindu): Another shooting incident has been reported in Canada, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly claiming responsibility. Gang member Goldy Dhillon took responsibility for the attack in a social media post, stating that the firing took place outside Punjabi singer Channi Nattan’s house and was meant as a warning to the singer.
In his post, Goldy Dhillon targeted Sardar Khehra, saying, “Any singer or individual who works with or maintains relations with Sardar Khehra in the future will be responsible for their own loss. We will continue to target Sardar Khehra.” He clarified that the gang has no personal enmity with Channi Nattan and that the shooting was intended as a warning to Khehra. The gang further warned other artists to avoid any association or collaboration with Sardar Khehra, or they could face serious consequences.
Recently, three individuals linked to Rohit Godara — Mahinder Saran Dilana, Rahul Rinau, and Vicky Pehlwan — confessed on social media to being involved in a shooting in Canada, claiming it was “just the beginning.” Their statements are being viewed as part of a series of violent incidents connected to Indian gangs operating in Canada.
Police have not yet issued a detailed statement regarding the latest shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are examining all possible angles. The incidents have created concern within the local community and the Punjabi music industry.
