Jalandhar(The Uttam Hindu): Gujarat Police have arrested Mohammad Murtaza Ali, a man from Jalandhar, Punjab, after recovering four mobile phones and three SIM cards from him. His phones contained suspicious videos, news links, and phone numbers related to the India-Pakistan conflict. Although the police confirmed his arrest in connection with a cyber fraud case, there are speculations about his potential ties to Pakistan's ISI, though this has not been verified.

Ali, originally from Bihar, was living on rent in Jalandhar’s Gandhi Nagar area. The Gujarat Police, who took him into custody, found several videos and images related to the India-Pakistan war on his phones, along with suspicious phone numbers. Despite these findings, Jalandhar Police stated that the arrest is related to cybercrime activities.

In addition, Ali had recently purchased a 25 marla plot in Gandhi Nagar, where he was building a luxurious house worth ₹1.5 crore. Investigations into his bank transactions revealed ₹40 lakh in exchanges over the course of a month. The Gujarat Police and ATS are currently probing the origin and nature of these financial transactions.
