Tarn Taran by-election: Freedom fighter families extend support to AAP candidate Harmeet Sandhu

Tarn Taran(The Uttam Hindu): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a major boost in the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election when the freedom fighter families of the constituency announced their full support for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu.

Addressing a press conference along with AAP leaders Jasbir Singh, Sur Singh and Bhupinder Singh Bittu, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian shared this information. He stated that a delegation of freedom fighter families also submitted a memorandum regarding their demands and requested a meeting with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He assured them that the Chief Minister would soon meet the heads of these families in Chandigarh.

Leaders of the freedom fighter families said that they had supported AAP during the 2022 elections and would once again put in their full effort to ensure the victory of Harmeet Singh Sandhu. They said that they have full faith in the Mann government, which, they believe, will address their demands on a priority basis.

On this occasion, Sardar Rupinder Singh Bittu, Sardar Satnam Singh Gandi Pind, Sardar Lakhwinder Singh Pradhan Mannan, Sardar Gurjant Singh, Sardar Baljit Singh, and several other distinguished persons were also present. Minister Mundian expressed heartfelt gratitude to these families and said that the Aam Aadmi Party will always stand by them.
