Fans Offer Ganga Aarti for Team India’s Victory Against Pakistan in High-Voltage Match
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The stage is set for the high-voltage Asia Cup 2025 clash between India and Pakistan on Sunday. Fans across the country are offering prayers and holding special rituals for Team India’s victory.
In Varanasi, devotees gathered at the Rajendra Prasad Ghat, where a special Ganga Aarti was performed. Supporters, carrying the Indian tricolor and pictures of their favorite players, prayed for India’s success against arch-rivals Pakistan.
Cricket enthusiast Rajesh Shukla said, “This match is happening after Operation Sindoor. Whether it’s the battlefield or the cricket field, India has always made Pakistan taste defeat. We are confident Lord Shiva and Mother Ganga will bless Team India with victory.”
In Belagavi, Karnataka, fans expressed full faith in captain Suryakumar Yadav, believing that he will lead the team to glory. One supporter said, “India will definitely win. We trust Surya to bring home the title.”
Asia Cup 2025 so far
India began their campaign with a dominant 9-wicket win over UAE. Pakistan registered a convincing 93-run victory against Oman.
The upcoming clash carries high stakes. If India wins, they will strengthen their grip at the top of the points table. If Pakistan emerges victorious, they will move to the No.1 position.
Historically, in the T20 Asia Cup, India has only lost to Pakistan and Sri Lanka, but India’s head-to-head record against Pakistan in this tournament remains highly favorable. If both teams progress to the final, fans could witness three Indo-Pak encounters in this Asia Cup alone—making the tournament even more electrifying.
