BCCI Extends Birthday Wishes to Virat Kohli on His 37th Birthday, Shares His Incredible Records

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Former Indian cricket captain and globally renowned “Run Machine” Virat Kohli is celebrating his 37th birthday on Wednesday. Wishes have been pouring in from across the country and around the world. On this occasion, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) extended warm greetings to Kohli while sharing his phenomenal career records.

The BCCI, in a post on social media platform X, shared a picture of Kohli and wrote, “Winner of ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2011, ICC Champions Trophy 2013 & 2025, and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 — wishing India’s legendary player and former captain Virat Kohli a very happy birthday!”

The BCCI also highlighted Kohli’s international career statistics — Total Matches: 553, Total Runs: 27,673, Centuries: 82.

Former cricketer Suresh Raina took to X and posted, “King Kohli turns 37! Celebrating the incredible journey of India’s cricketing legend. Wishing him another year filled with records, victories, and happiness.”

Ex-India pacer Munaf Patel also wished Kohli on X, writing, “Many happy returns of the day, Virat Kohli.” He shared a photo with Kohli from an earlier IPL season, recalling their time playing together for Team India.

The Mumbai Indians franchise posted, “Wishing the Run Machine a very happy birthday!” Kohli’s IPL team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), also extended greetings and reminded fans that on this very day in 2023, Kohli had equaled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) shared a tribute on X, writing, “An era of cricket and an immortal legacy. Happy Birthday, Virat.”
