BCCI's big announcement: Team India's schedule changes for 4 matches
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu)- The venue of 2 test matches of Team India has been changed. Announcing the new schedule, BCCI has said that the second match of the test series starting against West Indies from October 2, 2025 will now be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi instead of Kolkata. At the same time, the first match of the test series starting against South Africa from November 14 will now be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata instead of Delhi. At the same time, the venues of three matches of the ODI series of the Indian women's cricket team have also been changed.
BCCI said that the outfield and pitches of Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium are also being renovated, due to which the venue of the series between Indian Women and Australia Women has been changed. Due to renovation of outfield and pitches at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium, the ODI series between Team India (Senior Women) and Australia Women has been shifted from Chennai. The first two ODIs will now be held at the new PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh, while the third and final ODI will be held at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The match between India A and South Africa A has been shifted from M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The three ODIs will now be held at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. BCCI has not given any specific reason for this.
