New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Indian women's blind cricket team made history in Colombo. With a brilliant performance, Team India defeated Nepal by seven wickets in the final to win its first World Cup title. The Indian team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, not losing a single match, proving its superior performance.

In the final, India won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first. Nepal scored 114 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, India achieved the target in just 12.1 overs, with 47 balls remaining. Khulashari, for India, made a decisive contribution to the team's victory, scoring an unbeaten 44 runs off 27 balls.
