India-Pakistan Match: Dubai Police Issue Strict Guidelines for Spectators - Know the Rules to Avoid Fines
Dubai (The Uttam Hindu): The stage is set for the historic final of the Asia Cup 2025, where India and Pakistan will face off today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Fans are already excited for this highly anticipated match, and all tickets for the match have already been sold out. Amid the intense excitement surrounding the final, Dubai Police have issued a detailed advisory for spectators, announcing several restrictions. Violators have also been warned of heavy fines and jail time.
According to guidelines issued by Dubai Police, all fans attending the match have been advised to arrive at the stadium at least three hours before
the scheduled start time (8 PM IST) to avoid any inconvenience. The advisory clarifies that only one person will be allowed entry per ticket and anyone leaving the stadium during the match will not be granted re-entry.
These items will be banned
To maintain security and order during the match, Dubai Police have issued a detailed list of prohibited items that are strictly prohibited from being carried inside the stadium. According to this list, which is also available on the official website, fans will not be allowed to bring any firecrackers, flares, laser pointers or other flammable and dangerous materials with them.
Additionally, for safety reasons, sharp objects, weapons of any kind, toxic substances, and remote-controlled devices are strictly prohibited. Spectators will also not be permitted to bring photography equipment such as large umbrellas, camera tripods, and selfie sticks, as well as banners or flags not approved by the organizers. Pets, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and glass objects are also strictly prohibited from entering the stadium premises.
Dubai Police have warned that anyone caught with prohibited items could face a hefty fine, ranging from ₹1.2 lakh to ₹7.24 lakh, and a jail term of up to three months for those found guilty .
Additionally, fans found disrupting the stadium atmosphere or engaging in any form of indiscipline could face fines ranging from ₹2.41 lakh to ₹7.24 lakh. Strict security arrangements have been made for this epic match, with special forces deployed throughout the stadium to ensure this historic match proceeds without disruption.
