The high-profile wedding, scheduled to take place on November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra, was postponed at the last minute due to Smriti's father's sudden health deterioration. But now a digital move by the cricketer has sparked new discussions and speculations. Smriti Mandhana has removed all the engagement and proposal photos and videos from her Instagram account, which had recently gone viral.

The wedding rituals were in full swing, and after the Haldi and Mehndi ceremonies, the Sangeet ceremony was underway, when Smriti's father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suffered a heart attack or complained of uneasiness. Given the severity of the situation, he was immediately hospitalized, and both families mutually decided to postpone the wedding. Palash's sister, renowned singer Palak Muchhal, confirmed this in a post on social media. She wrote that the wedding had been postponed due to Smriti's father's health and appealed to fans to respect the privacy of both families during this sensitive time. Meanwhile, reports emerged of Palash Muchhal's health deteriorating, although he was discharged after a routine checkup.

Amidst this emotional atmosphere, Smriti Mandhana's social media activity has everyone worried. Smriti has deleted the video from her Instagram in which Palash Muchhal proposed to her in a filmy style, kneeling at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Additionally, the photo in which Smriti was seen flaunting her engagement ring has been removed. These posts, shared just three days ago, were flooded with congratulations, but their disappearance now raises questions among fans: whether the postponement of the wedding is due solely to her father's illness or whether all is not well between the two.

It's worth noting that grand preparations were made for Palash and Smriti's wedding in Sangli, and many star players from the Indian women's cricket team were present. The video of Palash proposing in the stadium and Smriti accepting the proposal went viral on the internet. Although some old photos with Palash are still available on Smriti's account, neither party has issued an official statement regarding the removal of the photos from such an important occasion as the engagement.
