New Twist in Tennis Star Radhika Murder: Friend Posts Shocking Video, Police Begin Probe

Gurugram (The Uttam Hindu): A new twist has emerged in the case of murder of national tennis player Radhika Yadav. Gurugram police has taken cognizance of two videos released on social media by Radhika's close friend Himanshika. Now the police is preparing to call Himanshika for questioning by sending her a notice.

Himanshika had claimed in her second video that Radhika's father Deepak Yadav was plotting to kill her for the last three days. The police will now question Himanshika to confirm this claim.

What did the villagers say?

The incident took place on the morning of July 10. Radhika was cooking food for her family in the kitchen of her house in Sector 57, when her father shot four bullets at her, killing her on the spot. Deepak Yadav had said that the reason for the murder was the taunts of the villagers of 'eating the daughter's earnings' and being called a 'fallen father'. However, the police and the villagers found this argument completely inconsistent.

Questions raised on social media

After Radhika's death, various discussions started on social media. Meanwhile, her friend Himanshika shared two videos on Instagram on Saturday and Sunday, in which she made many serious allegations. The police will now investigate the veracity of these statements.
