Shivpuri (The Uttam Hindu): Thieves in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh have disturbed the sleep of the police administration by carrying out a major crime. Last night in Indar village of the district, the miscreants targeted two houses and decamped with goods worth about Rs 1.5 crore. The thieves made away with a total of about one kg gold, two and a half kg silver and Rs 20 lakh cash from both the houses. After this daring crime, there is panic in the entire area and the villagers are in fear about their safety. According to the police, the miscreants entered the houses through the roof taking advantage of the darkness of the night and searched the entire house leisurely.
According to police officials, the largest burglary occurred at Chandraprakash Raghuvanshi's home. Victim Ashish Raghuvanshi stated that all family members were asleep around 12:00 a.m. when unknown thieves entered the house through the roof.
